CELEBRITY Big Brother’s James Cosmo has become the first housemate to face eviction.
The actor was selected by Angie Best and Jamie O’Hara – who had previously been voted most entertaining – during Friday’s live show.
Each of the ‘edited out’ housemates were given 15 seconds to plead why they should be saved.
However, James failed to impress the duo and was left unsaved and facing the public vote.
To soften the blow the housemates were then told Big Brother would be throwing a party following the end of the All Star ‘producers’ task.
The shock snub came when the All Star side of the house decided the 68-year-old actor should be forced to wear the beige tracksuit, not be allowed his possessions and excluded from the rest of the CBB housemates.
Despite saying in the garden he’d vote for James as he’d be the least offended, fellow housemate Austin Armacost told James: “As we’ve all said James, you are a lovely guy, I think there aren’t people you’ve interacted with in the first couple of hours and purely on that basis.”
The Game of Thrones favourite appeared to take it in his stride as he collected his tracksuit, and joked with Stacy that they were in a “very exclusive club”.
James took the news better than the former X Factor star.

Earlier in the evening, the All Star contestants – which also included the likes of former Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan, model Jasmine Waltz and reality star Austin Armacost – were tasked with choosing who should be “edited out” of the show.
They settled on Stacy Francis, banishing her out into the garden as the others enjoyed the launch party, but it left poor Stacy in floods of tears.
Stacy was also told to wear a beige hoodie and tracksuit set and that she would be missing out on any of the big events.
